Django Bates and the music of Loose Tubes

New co-productions by young ensembles

The new season of Jazz Sessions has closed the Retrat d’Artista (Artist’s Portrait) which L’Auditori has ‎dedicated in the last two years to Django Bates. In his last concert, Bates has conducting ‎an educational project with a big band co-produced by L’Auditori, the ESMUC, the Berne ‎Music Conservatory and the National Orchestra of Lille, featuring musicians from the three ‎schools involved.

Under the name of Django Bates and the music of Loose Tubes, the pianist, ‎conductor and composer will show off his various facets through a repertoire of original ‎pieces and others by classical composers.
