Music Workshop led by “Quartetto Montenegro” (Marko Radonić – violin, Katarina Pavlović – violin, Uroš Lapčević – viola and Dmitrii Prokofiev – violoncello) gathered pupils of secondary school age in Art School for Music and Ballet „Vasa Pavić“ in Podgorica in order to popularize chamber repertoire and improve chamber performance among youngsters.
After a performance, members of the quartet spoke to the pupils about the specific aspects and importance of chamber music and performace. They shared their previous experiences, and talked about compliances and challenges which chamber musicians have before them.
The Chamber-Music-Talk was followed by three-hour workshops with different chamber formations consisting of pupils. Thereafter, pupils had the oportunity to show in public their work results by performing pieces they prepared with the quartet members.
