Montenegrin Music Center organized Music Workshop for young percussionists in Music School “Dara Čokorilo” in Niksic, on April 13, 2019 from 16:30 to 20:00. The workshop was led by Srđan Palačković, timpanis of Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra and a percussion professor at Faculty of Music in Belgrade.  Since the percussion classes have recently started to formally organize in Montenegro, Palackovic begun his 30 minutes lecture where he explained the classification of percussion instruments, their differences and similarities, as well as possibilities and tone characteristics. Afterwards, during 3 hours of workshop, under tutorship of Palackovic pupils of primary and secondary music school was given the opportunity to play percussions (some of the instruments for the very first time).
