Work Experience Exchange Program – Vanja Vukcevic

As a professional operator of Montenegrin Music Center, Vanja Vukcevic (MMC Organizer) took part in Work Exchange Experience Program in the Netherlands. The program host was the MUCN project partner – the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra.
In order to strenghten capacities and skills to operate at an international level she met the management of the orchestra, and took the opportunity to get acquainted with the ways of production and performance functioning, and particular segments of their organization. She attended rehearsals, as well as 3 concerts of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Netherlands Chamber Orchestra during her stay in Amsterdam: Symphonic Cinema – “Daphnis and Chloe” by M. Ravel (as well as “After talk” with conductor & filmer in Concertgebouw), “Gurre-Lieder” by A. Schoenberg (National Opera) and “Diary of Anne Frank” by G. Frid (Muziekgebouw). She had the opportunity to get to know their strategies of engaging audience, doing specific educational programs, attracting sponsors and doing fundraising, conducting marketing and communication sector, and cooperating with professionals. Vukcevic presented her institution Montenegrin Music Center to the hosts, and talked about its activities, and its ways of functioning.
